On January 6, 2016, the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Changzhou Museum Association was held at the Hengshan Museum in Changzhou. Zhou Xiaodong, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Press, along with 26 members of the Board of Directors and the Secretariat, attended the meeting.

President Chen Lihua summarized the Society’s work in 2015 and outlined specific plans for 2016. Nineteen member institutions, including the Changzhou Museum, the Changzhou Hengshan Museum, and the Ge Xiaoxing Museum of Chinese and Foreign Cigarettes, delivered presentations. The meeting also reviewed and voted on the application for membership submitted by the Yanghu Baoyuan Museum in Wujin District, Changzhou.

Deputy Director Zhou Xiaodong delivered an important speech. He fully recognized the achievements made by the Changzhou Museum Association over the past year in promoting industry exchange, strengthening collaborative partnerships, integrating and optimizing resources, and coordinating activities. He expressed his hope that the Association would continue to improve its organizational structure, effectively fulfill its role as a platform, strengthen inter-museum cooperation, provide professional guidance to private museums, continuously enhance its visibility and influence, and make positive contributions to the balanced development of the museum sector in Changzhou.
